Peer Support
At its heart, peer support is when people use their own experiences to help each other.
Everyone's views and experiences are equally valued and respected, rather than anyone being seen as more of an expert than another, so you might find this gives you a different experience to more structured support options.
You're very much in control, so how much support you give and receive can vary depending on what feels right for you at different times.
Through peer support, you can get a sense of purpose and belonging, and feel that your experiences and knowledge are valued.

What we can do to help you
Our peer support groups are designed to help you feel comfortable about what you're feeling and going through, and give you a safe space to share coping techniques and support options with other people. It's a great way to reassure you that you're not alone in what you're experiencing.
Our groups meet or do things together depending upon what members are interested in.
If there's a group or activity you're interested in, and think others might be too, we'd love to hear from you.
