Virtual Reality Mindfulness Therapy
We've partnered with The University of Manchester and Tend VR to explore an innovative way to help people with depression and/or anxiety.
The Virtual Reality programme will deliver mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) to local people over an 8-10 week period.
Who is it for?
We're looking for 30 adults who have experienced recent anxiety or depressive symptoms to trial a new virtual MBCT course.
You'll come to our offices and our team will talk you through the programme, what to expect and how the equipment works. Then you'll have weekly in person sessions lasting around an hour for 8-10 weeks.
You can find out more about the programme by watching the introductory video.
How to sign up
We'll provide the support and the VR equipment free of charge, but you'll need to have access to a smart phone so that you can download a mobile app that accompanies the programme.
